Is it possible to be "saved" but not "converted"? A change of mind.
Upon receiving salvation through Jesus Christ are born again in the spirit, that is instant. It is a spiritual transaction in which our sins are cleaned by the blood of Jesus.
We have another task to work on. This is the renewed mind. Paul says “be transformed by the renewing of you mind. As believers we still have a mental issue that must be addressed.
Some people this may take a lifetime but for people who want to move forward we don’t have time for the works of the enemy. As children of God we have to relearn how to act and live as children of the Most High God.
Some are bringing their old habits and mentality in to this original Kingdom.
We have to manage ourselves. We have to use discipline and stop over drinking, stealing, anger, control jealousy and envy, put away drugs, stop immoral sexual activity, mismanagement, gossip, internal hatred and the list can go on. We have to think about the outcome of life and fulfillment of purpose.
We have to keep our hearts, mind and bodies pure. We cannot live in a way that doesn’t honor ourselves, our family, and our God and community. I am not the only one who fights this. We all have to cast down every imagination. I have to daily update my mental hard drive with the correct information. We live in a world that can be moved by so many ideas and emotions. We have to think like Kings again.
Our Kingdom citizenship requires a new mind. A change in thinking, believing and philosophy. We have to recognize our place and the rights give to us to us by the Creator.
We have to fulfill our Kingdom purpose and destiny on this earth. This is good news. It’s about taking over what Adam lost from sin and disobedience. You can draw closer to God and he will help you. It’s about living out our dominion mandate from God.
